Towards a System of Systems: Transparent Integration of Air-Ground Telecommunications Using the Connector Technology

چکیده

Air Traffic Management (ATM) is evolving towards integration of all its parts into a global system-wide information management system for information sharing and collaborative decision-making. It would be useful to evaluate new technologies that would help in the integration of these large, heterogeneous, distributed, and often old ATM systems. The objective of this poster-paper is to introduce the reader to the new principles of software Connector and to discuss its benefits for the aeronautical world with a special focus on air-ground integration. This poster is a summary of [1], and can therefore not go into detail. We show that the principles of software connectors do apply to the aeronautical sector, and that the software Connector technology can give benefits.
